Michael’s work explores cultural constructs, communications methods and landscapes that are in flux, such as fast-food and carry-out packaging, outdated iPads, highway construction and urban ruins. By capturing concepts that aren’t intended to be preserved, his paintings and prints memorialize the transitory nature of contemporary life, simultaneously celebrating and critiquing it. His deep understanding and reverence for light, shadow and texture on forms give his images of ephemerality a vivid, tactile presence that creates a visceral understanding for the viewer.

I’m a Guatemalan, self-taught mixed-media artist who was raised in Port Chester, New York. I grew up drawing animals and wildlife, and over time, I began taking that love for nature and mixing it with anime, occult, and religious imagery.
I like my art to be colorful, moody, small but detailed, and a bit thought-provoking. Duality is also a central focus in my work, as it’s something I tend to incorporate into my everyday life.
Rough around the edges, but always learning something new every day.
Sammy Dempsey is a mixed media artist based in the Hudson Valley. Her art is a combination of surrealism, studies of insects and skeletons. By using a dark yet whimsical style of painting and drawing she creates works that can make people uncomfortable or curious about her macabre subject matter.
Sammy has a background in studio art from Potsdam; taking inspiration from surreal horror and a love of all animals.
She is currently working on a study of high contrast triad pieces using white, black and red ink.
Stephanie Fiorino was an art major at Manhattanville College, her main medium being photography. She has been teaching visual art for 17 years in a public elementary school in the Bronx. Some of her students’ work has been exhibited in the PS Art citywide exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Bronx Borough Arts Festival at Lehman College Gallery. When the school lost one of their assistant principals to COVID during the pandemic, Stephanie led a team to paint a mural in her memory in the school. During the process she found herself challenged and enjoyed painting sea animals with texture. When she lost her mother in 2022, she found having this side project was a channel for healing. She challenged herself to paint her immediate family’s favorite animals in a large-scale format with lots of attention to texture. Stephanie also enjoyed making an abstract background with Klimt-like patterns and colors. Stephanie is deaf with a cochlear implant and uses ASL and English. She believes art is a universal language. She currently resides in Rye Brook with her husband Sam and her son, Myles. She has shown her work locally at Larchmont Library, Crawford Park Mansion, Townhouse Gallery and Valencia Luncheria Restaurant in Norwalk, Conn.. She also takes commissions for pet portraits.

Elena Garrison is a New York City-based artist whose primary medium is photography. With a BFA in Fine Arts and a background in painting and mixed media, she eventually turned to photography as her principal form of artistic expression.
Growing up in South America surrounded by lush vegetation fostered an early fascination with the natural world. Discovery is at the heart of her photographic process. Through the lens, Elena isolates small fragments from a larger world, allowing unexpected relationships between form, color, pattern, and surrounding space to reveal themselves.
For Elena, the experience of observing is as important as making the photograph itself. Her images invite viewers to share in these discoveries, slow down, look more closely, and experience layers of beauty that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Blake Goldstein - I create personalized sports illustrations that celebrate athletes and their meaningful moments. What began as a portrait for my brother grew into Playtime Portraits, where I create artwork for athletes and families. I draw each composition by hand in pencil and ink, then add color digitally. Working from photographs, I use expressive poses, bold lines and detailed backgrounds to capture each athlete’s personality and bring movement to a still image. Creating for others has taught me to listen closely and recognize the details that make a portrait personal. My goal is to turn an athlete’s dedication and achievements into artwork they can keep and connect with.

Pamela Rose - I grew up in Port Chester, New York, and an artistic student, and began my artistic journey over 35 years ago as an art teacher with the Port Chester Council for the Arts. I continue to share my love of art and learning at Corpus Christi Holy Rosary School, where I have worked for 28 years as an art teacher and librarian.
I continued my education at Westchester Community College and SUNY Purchase, where I studied in the Dance Department.
My creative journey has included teaching, acting, singing, dancing, artist-in-residence programs, and camp art instruction.
My greatest passion is creating hand-drawn charcoal pet portraits. Each portrait is carefully drawn by hand to capture the unique personality and special details of every beloved pet. No AI. No Photoshop. Just traditional drawing by Pamela Rose. My goal is to celebrate the special bond we share with our furry family members through original artwork.
Along with my pet portraits, I enjoy creating original artwork, handcrafted gifts, books, and educational resources that inspire creativity and imagination.
I am a proud mother to Amanda and Robbie and a grateful grandmother to Charlee, Lennox, Santino, and Rylee. My family, my faith, and my lifelong love of the arts continue to inspire me.
I believe the people, pets, and memories we cherish live on
forever in our hearts and souls.

Paul M. Rively, Jr. Polymath - With a breadth of work and a focus in Art Education, Paul M. Rively Jr. has been involved in the local art scene in the Port Chester area for the last few years. A graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with a degree in Illustration, Paul has expanded his repertoire to include sculpture and sewing, as well as continuing his painting and illustration work.
Over the years, Paul has worked as an Artist-In-Residence for the Port Chester Council For the Arts, and an Art Educator. This allowed him to help the students of Port Chester learn various art techniques, and also expand classroom subjects with projects intended to tie together lesson plans with a creative bent. His projects work hand in hand with almost every subject, from social studies to math. In conjunction with a local after-school program, “Mr. Paul” helped foster an interest in art and its various techniques with a huge population of elementary aged students.
In addition to his personal projects and working as an art educator, Paul also helps develop and execute sets for local school productions as a Scenic Designer and Painter. On occasion, he is also called on to produce various prop and costume pieces, helping him stretch his creative muscles and allowing him to transition these ideas to his own work.
With an eye that finds inspiration in almost everything, Paul’s work is as eclectic as the things that spark his interest. While many of his projects focus on the fantastic, he also produces pieces in various styles, from impressionism to realism. He allows the medium to inspire his creative vision, allowing the projects to develop their own personalities. Paul is constantly working to refine his skills and enjoys nothing more than help others find and nurture their own creative strengths.
